Innova Machine Tools has appointed Bernard Martin as Head of North American Sales, a role that reflects the company’s next phase of growth and its broader transition toward engineered machine platforms, disciplined dealer development, and long-term brand building across the United States and Canada.

Martin brings more than thirty years of experience in the industrial manufacturing and machine tool sector. His career has focused on launching, repositioning, and scaling machine tool, tooling, and manufacturing technology brands, often during periods of significant change. That experience spans building dealer and agent networks, developing structured go-to-market strategies, and aligning sales, marketing, and technical support under a unified commercial plan.
At Innova, Martin is responsible for leading dealer development, market expansion, and the structured rollout of the Innova brand across North America. His role supports the company’s continued evolution from traditional machine importation toward a portfolio centered on engineered platforms and collaborative machine development.
A key part of that responsibility includes oversight of Innova’s “Innova by…” programs, developed in close engineering partnership with established Taiwanese builders such as WSI (Waysai), Honor Seiki, Dawn Machinery, Litz Hitech, and CNC-Takang. These collaborations go beyond branding and representation, focusing instead on specification control, application alignment, and long-term serviceability for North American production environments.
Martin will also help guide the market introduction of Innova’s next-generation vertical turning, five-axis, and precision milling platforms. These machines are being configured specifically for U.S. and Canadian manufacturers, with emphasis on application-first configurations, standardized options, automation readiness, and support infrastructure that extends well beyond installation.
“Innova was built around a simple idea — deliver serious machining capability with the structure, support, and discipline that North American shops expect,” Martin said. “That means application-first machine configurations, clear standards, strong dealer enablement, and long-term serviceability. We are not chasing volume. We are building a brand dealers can stand behind.”
Before joining Innova, Martin held senior leadership roles across sales, marketing, and communications in the industrial metalcutting manufacturing sector. He has also served as a consultant and outsourced CMO for manufacturers looking to professionalize brand launches and market entry strategies. In addition, he brings a background in automotive and motorsports media, where he has produced, directed, and hosted live events and broadcast programming. He is a member of the International Motor Press Association.
In his new role, Martin will work closely with Innova’s factory partners and dealer network to formalize product standards, installation practices, and support infrastructure. This effort is intended to ensure consistency across the Innova portfolio while building visibility and alignment ahead of the company’s full public rollout at IMTS 2026.
